I began painting in college when my roommate offered me the use of a few oil paints and a poorly stretched canvas. It was at that moment that I caught the painting ”bug” and started my artistic journey. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects in various mediums, but I especially enjoy celebrating the beauty and wonder of animals by painting them in my distinctly vibrant and whimsical style.

My paintings have been exhibited in numerous art shows in Virginia and North Carolina and many hang in public and private collections in both the United States and abroad.

In addition to painting on canvas, I also paint signs and murals for both private and commercial entities. I am always looking to expand my artistic and creative repertoire and appreciate the unique challenges that come with creating large scale works of art.

I also offer fun and educational art classes for children. They learn both art technique and art history by creating their own unique works of art based on the style of famous artists. My classes are a great way for kids to build confidence all while creating an amazing work of art!

Originally from Virginia, I moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina in 2006.
